Eaton's stationary filter units are designed for the oil-service for gears with lubricants of high viscosity for the off-line filtration. The compact construction on a base plate without tube is the precondition for the small dimensions and the high reliability. The device is equipped with a gear pump driven by an e-motor.

The circulation filter units US 10-640 take oil from a reservoir connected by a hose to clean it from contaminants (dirt and water). The purified oil is pumped into the intended reservoir. The contaminants accumulate in the filter. The unit works without supervision after the start. The maximum allowable dirt particle size of the working fluid should be  200μm. Larger dirt particles cause a premature wear of the gear pump

Eaton's Mobile Fluid Purifier Systems are highly versatile and designed to facilitate fluid purification where and when needed. The IFPM fluid purifier systems are fully automated, PLC controlled units compact enough for use in confined areas. The water sensor (WSPS 05) permanently monitors the water saturation in a purified fluid. A ventilation filter with silica gel dries the inflowing air, increasing the efficiency of the cleaning system even in environments with high humidity levels. The VS1 electronic contamination sensor provides the optimal use and maintenance scheduling of the particle removal filter element..

The anodized aluminum body in a compact design is sea waterproof for maximum corrosion resistance and reduces weight by more than 75 percent compared to standard options in carbon steel or cast iron. Contamination Monitoring

Eaton's contamination monitoring systems provide immediate and precise diagnosis of the fluid’s condition in a hydraulic system. Eaton systems easily connect to an external computer to control operations and manage measurement data using LabVIEW Data Manager software (export in MS-Excel).

The WSTM 01-Set is designed for reliable, stationary in-line measurements of saturated water in oil. It also measures the fluid’s temperature. Different types are available: optical, electrical, optical-electrical, electronic, as well as the following variations: block execution, explosion-proof, thread execution, with reset function and with control function. The clogging indicators easily integrate into automatic control systems, and ensure continuous contamination control.

Visual clogging indicators show when a filter element is clogged, and how clogged it is. They are meant for high-traffic areas where they can be observed on a regular basis.

Electrical clogging indicators are ideal for situations where the filter housing cannot easily be viewed in the plant. When the filter element becomes clogged, an indicator light will go off in a central command center. It is also possible to program these indicators to shut the system off completely.

For quick and clean filter element change without oil loss, the Eaton's WGR 60 maintenance unit is ideal. Pumping and storing the oil outside of the filter housing, while changing the element avoids oil loss. Returning the extracted oil back into the system, after changing the filter, is a cost saving option.

Return Line Filters

Series TEF filters have a simple design that eliminates fittings. Due to its practical design, the return-line filter is easy to service. When changing the filter element a detachable connection between the filter head and the filter bowl prevents a flow back of dirty oil into the tank.

The filters of the series TNRS are tank-top mounted in-line filters. In addition to the return-line connection they have a suction connection on the clean-side. This suction connection has a preload pressure (fitting pressure) of 7.25 PSI. This combination, return-line and suction filter, for hydraulic circuits which are equipped with minimum 2 feed pumps (2 hydraulic circuits).

This suction connection has a preload pressure (fitting pressure) of 7.25 PSI. This combination, return-line and suction filter, is foreseen for hydraulic circuits which are equipped with a minimum of 2 feed pumps (2 hydraulic circuits). The preload suction connection is for the full volume flow filtration for the pump with the smaller volume flow.

Return-line filters in the TRW series are suitable for a working pressure up to 145 PSI. Pressure peaks will be absorbed by a sufficient margin of safety. The TRW-filters are directly mounted to the reservoir and connected to the return-line.

The DTEF-filters are directly mounted to the reservoir and connected to the return-line. When changing the filter element, a detachable connection between the filter head and the filter bowl prevents dirty oil from flowing into the tank.
