Glass Inspection
Imperfections in empty glass containers, either returnable or even straight from the manufacturer, can easily result in damaged or wasted product. Empty bottle inspection occurs between the washer and the filler, ensuring that no residual liquid, foreign objects, or damaged glass comes in contact with the product.

Can Inspection
The Spectrovision ECI unit inspects the inner sidewall, base, and rim of cans for contaminates, damages and foreign objects. Production faults and transport damages are effectively rejected before reaching the filler, preventing loss of product and would-be faulty seams.
Verification of can labeling is also possible with Empty Can Inspection – please contact your local FILTEC representative with project specifications.

Full CAN Imperfections
Flaws in filled aluminum cans can be alarmingly frequent and messy. Puncture holes left undiscovered can ruin full cases of product, and low-filled cans trigger customer complaints if allowed to reach the market.
Unlike most glass and PET containers, cans cannot be inspected with vision technology alone – FILTEC provides both x-ray and gamma based solutions for the reliable detection of non-visible can variables like fill level and pressure levels.
